Scuba Dive Training on St. Croix
Becoming a fully certified scuba diver has never been easier.
There’s three easy steps:
Academics. This used to be a LOT of classroom work but now you can do it all online, quickly, easily, and on your own time and at your own pace. (You can even do it at work when you’re pretending that you’re really working).- Confined Water. This is the swimming pool portion of the training where
you’ll learn some basic scuba diving skills. We call them our “what ifs”. (“What if I get water in my mask?”, “what if I’m claustrophobic?”, “what if I see a shark?”) You’ll do two four-hour (or less) sessions in the pool with your Instructor. - Openwater Dives. You’ll do four openwater dives (this means you’ll be diving
along an actual reef from our boat). The first dive is purely for fun and to get you acclimated to breathing underwater. On the following three dives you’ll review some of the skills you learned in the pool.
Once you’ve completed the Academics, we’ll only need four training sessions with you (two confined water and two openwater).
Each session is 4 hours long and you can do up to two per day. That means you can be certified in as few as two full days (or four half days).
That’s it! You’ll be fully certified PADI Openwater Diver. Your certification is for life and is recognized anywhere in the world.
