Captain's Log 061317 By Captain John Gillette

Diving EdBuckley COMMENTS 23 Jun, 2017

Captains log, North Shore, June 13th.

Headed out to Green Cay Slope and Long Reef for the AM dives, in search of turtles and all things cute.
At Scotch Bank, Divers checked out schools of Squirrelfish, Grunts and Blue Tang, as well as garden eels, Trumpetfish, Smooth-nosed Trunkfish, as well as some big ole Barrel sponges.
On long Reef, turtles, sharks and barracudas finished out the dives.
On the afternoon dives we did some discovering Scuba as well as a Birthday dive. The Discover Divers got to "Peek at the deep" on Scotch Bank while the certified divers got to check out some cool Soft corals, tube sponges, schools of wrasses, cute little Bridled, shark nose and cleaning Gobys.

A big THANK YOU to Allen, Amy, in choosing SCUBA for Yancy and Sydney's first two Salt water dives. The Staff and I always enjoy showing the next generation of Divers all the cool things under the sea!
And a Happy Birthday to Jaclyn, THANK YOU for sharing your Birthday with us!
