Captain's Log 061217 By Captain John Gillette

Diving EdBuckley COMMENTS 23 Jun, 2017

Captains Log Monday June 12th, North shore.

A little sporty this morning on Long Reef for the AM dives. Divers checked out some interesting marine life this morning.
While we get excited when we see Sharks, Turtles, Rays and Eels, some of the little things don't get mentioned. Today is all about the small things.
Diving in the shallower waters is the place to find the small stuff, Christmas Tree worms (pictured), feather dusters, cleaning Gobys, Peterson cleaner shrimp, Aero crabs, Corkscrew anemone, pistol shrimp, as well as banded coral shrimp are usually found hiding in the corals in the shallower water.

What to see the small stuff? Give us a call and let's get wet.
